Measures water flow velocity and water level while calculating river discharge. Supports simultaneous detection of river flow speed and water level data. With intelligent software, it can analyze flood season discharge and automatically generate reports.Seamless DJI SKYPORT V2.0 Integration
DJI SDK Payload, equipped with a non-destructive quick-installation rotating buckle, ensuring seamless compatibility with the DJI M300 M350 series flight platform.
Measurement Principle:
The DJI M350 river flow rate measurement sensor utilizes the Doppler shift principle to measure water surface flow velocity. In the field of acoustics, when a sound source and a receiver (i.e., the probe and the reflecting surface) are in relative motion, the frequency of the reflected signal changes. This frequency variation is known as the Doppler effect.
When the sensor moves relative to the water surface at a velocity V, the frequency of the electromagnetic waves received by the radar differs from the frequency of the emitted waves. This frequency difference is called the Doppler shift. By calculating the relationship between Doppler shift and V, the water surface flow velocity can be determined.
