The Phantom 4 RTK is a small multi-rotor high-precision aerial survey & mapping drone for low-altitude photogrammetry applications. It has a centimeter-level navigation and positioning system and a high-performance imaging system. It is portable and easy to use, and has been used in many fields such as mapping and inspection. The important role is to improve the efficiency of the industry.
To further optimize the experience, the Phantom 4 RTK has undergone a new firmware update, adding 3D Oblique photography , ground-based flight, battery anomaly reminder, and experience optimization and defect repair. Not much to say, let’s upgrade the firmware together!
Added photogrammetry 3D (five-way flight) type of operation. The route generated after planning the operation area contains a set of Orthophoto -routes and four sets of Oblique routes.
Added imitation ground flight type. Create a folder under the DJI\DSM path in the root directory of the microSD card, store the tif and tfw files, and import the App. After the route is planned in the area corresponding to the imported file, the flight can be simulated.
Added intelligent flight battery power anomaly detection. If an exception occurs, the App will prompt you and trigger a return flight.
Optimize the route plan for flight belt flight. Turn on or off the “route contains centerline” option in the settings to set whether the generated route contains the centerline added during planning.
Fix the problem that the task list is loading slowly.
Fix the problem of camera preview image jitter during the return flight.
Fixed an issue where the network RTK package B segment could not be activated.
Solve the problem that the T16, MG-1P, and Phantom 4 RTK remote controllers are not compatible.

The Phantom 4 RTK aircraft firmware needs to be upgraded to V 02.01.0009.
The remote firmware version needs to be upgraded to V 02.01.0009.
How to upgrade the firmware of DJI Phantom 4 RTK Drone
The firmware update of the DJI Phantom 4 RTK can be done in the following three ways:
1:Via DJI Assistant 2 for Phantom or DJI Assistant 2 for MG
Download and install DJI Assistant 2 for Phantom:
Download and install DJI Assistant 2 for Phantom:
1 Copy link to download the installation package
2 Connect the aircraft/remote control to the computer;
3 Open DJI Assistant 2 for Phantom;
4 Upgrade the aircraft firmware to V 02.01.0009 and the remote controller firmware to V 02.01.0009.
– Download and install DJI Assistant 2 for MG:
1 Copy the link to download the installation package:
2 Connect the aircraft/remote control to the computer;
3 Open DJI Assistant 2 for MG;
4 Upgrade the aircraft firmware to V 02.01.0009 and the remote controller firmware to V 02.01.0009.
2:Upgrade via APP
- Remote firmware upgrade
1 Open the remote control and the aircraft, and click the firmware upgrade icon in the lower right corner of the remote control screen;
2 Find the upgraded version, click Upgrade to start downloading;
3 After the download is complete, click Upgrade again to install the update.
4 After the update is complete, you will be prompted to upgrade to the latest version. - The remote control may restart during the update process.
- Drone firmware upgrade
1 Connect the remote control and the aircraft using the USB-C OTG cable and Micro-USB cable;
2 Find the version you need to upgrade on the remote control and click the upgrade button on the right side of the corresponding version.
3 Click Install Updates and the aircraft may restart during the upgrade process.
Do not disconnect during the upgrade process.
3:Upgrade via SD card (only support remote firmware upgrade)
Specific operations:
1 Download the file via the link:
2 Copy the file (AG410_v02.01.0009.bin) to the root directory of the microSD card;
3 Insert the microSD card into the microSD card slot of the remote control;
4 Turn on the power of the remote control. After about 10 seconds, the interface prompts to detect the firmware package. Follow the prompts and wait for the upgrade to complete.
- After the upgrade is complete, please remove the microSD card and delete the firmware file. Otherwise, the firmware package will be detected when the remote controller is turned on after each card insertion.
Note
This firmware contains smart flight battery firmware. If you have multiple batteries, repeat the upgrade process to upgrade all your batteries.
Network RTK users must perform this firmware upgrade, otherwise they may not be able to continue to use the network RTK package.
This firmware upgrade may take a long time, please be patient. Never turn off the aircraft power during the upgrade process.
The remote control firmware will not be downgraded after the upgrade.
Make sure that the aircraft and remote control firmware are the latest version, otherwise it will affect the use.
- It is not recommended to use this firmware with PC Ground Station Pro software version 1.2.0 or below. Otherwise, some functions may be abnormal.
